Uses of Multiple Teeth Implants

Losing one tooth is bad enough. But sometimes people are without several teeth in their smile. The best treatment for tooth loss is dental implants. There are two possible ways to use multiple teeth implants if someone has lost several teeth.
Single Implants
The first option is to place a single dental implant in each space where a tooth is missing. The implant is then capped off with a porcelain crown to complete the smile.
Implant Supported Bridge
If the missing teeth are adjacent to each other, a fixed dental bridge can be used. In this case, a single implant is placed in the location of the missing tooth on each end of the gap. A dental bridge can then be attached to these two implants to fill in the smile.
To receive a dental implant, there must be enough bone available to support the implant. If you are lacking sufficient bone due to bone deterioration, it is possible that a bone graft can be performed to build the bone up enough to support an implant. If you are missing numerous teeth and are interested in dental implants, contact our Beverly Hills implant dentist to discuss your options.
